Green Guru Cleaning is headquartered in El Mirage and services the West Valley including Phoenix, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Sun City, Waddell, Wittmann, El Mirage, Litchfield Park, Goodyear, Avondale and Buckeye. We are a West valley business. Our service area extends as far east as 7th Street in Phoenix. Between 7th Street and Loop 101, a travel fee of $18 applies. Between Loop 101 and Greenfield, a travel fee off $28 applies. East of Greenfield, a travel fee of $38 applies. Maricopa can be serviced for a $48 travel fee.

If you would like us to use a specific cleaning product, we ask that you call for pre-approval. Due to OSHA regulations we are required to have Safety Data Sheets for all chemicals our staff use.
Deep Cleaning, Move out Cleaning and Hoard Cleans
Deep cleaning is an important step in maintaining an occupied home. The Deep Clean service offered by Green Guru Cleaning includes items not typically addressed during a surface clean. Likewise, a Move Out clean is essentially a Deep Clean with even more cleaning items listed. A Deep Clean is in no way a substitute for regular maintenance and cleaning of your home. Excessively soiled surfaces will merit additional charges of $0.04-0.08 per square foot of the entire home depending on the severity of the situation. A manager will discuss the status of your home before cleaning begins. If additional charges are refused, you will forfeit 50% of your booking fee, and the appointment will be canceled. Groupon customers will have their voucher redeemed, and no refund will be issued.
Likewise, Deep Clean services can not be used in hoard clean situations. Hoard cleans typical require excess loads of trash to be removed, excess dishes to be cleaned, excess clutter and laundry to be relocated etc. At Green Guru Cleaning, our primary goal is to be of service. Our staff come prepared with a 2-step ladder. We are unable to use client ladders or climb higher than two steps due to liability and safety concerns. Higher items will be dusted with an extension duster to the best of our ability.
As explicitly stated in our list of services, baseboards are vacuumed. If you have excessively soiled baseboards and would like them scrubbed by hand, additional charges of $0.25 per linear foot. Please bear in mind that baseboards are sometimes coated in primer not paint, and perfect restoration may not be feasible.
Our cleaning services include blinds and shutters. Blinds may need to be vacuumed before they are wiped which may cause some dust resettlement after we leave. We will try to limit the dust in the air, but cannot prevent this entirely. Likewise, to prevent dust from settling on furniture, we will not service blinds that are unreachable without climbing onto furniture (i.e. blinds behind a couch or bed). We cannot be held liable for blinds/shutters that have dry rot, sun damage and/or are not installed properly.
Due to the nature of vacation rental cleaning, expedient service is our primary goal. To ensure we complete service before your next guest arrives, linens will be washed off-site and returned to the property during our next visit. Comforters and duvets will always be left in place unless instructed otherwise. Duvet covers, sheets, pillowcases, throw blankets, bath towels, wash cloths, hand towels, guest robes, pool towels and kitchen towels will be bagged and labeled with you customer number. Your linens will never be laundered with those of another client. We wash with hypoallergenic, naturally derived detergent.
We will move “light” furniture (dining room chairs, end tables), but we do not move couches, refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, etc. Our staff is able to vacuum under beds and couches that have at least four inch clearance from the floor.
Your pets are members of your family and we respect that. However, if your pet is afraid of vacuums, territorial or overly friendly, we may suggest that they be placed in areas that we are not working or kenneled to allow our staff to work without distraction. We do not handle pet excrement including litter boxes and soiled carpets.
Home Access, Key Control and Alarm Systems
Most of our recurring service clients provide us with a spare key to their home. Rest assured we take the utmost care in protecting both your key and your home. Keys are number coded and have no names or street addresses attached to them. All keys are immediately returned upon cessation of service.
If you decide not to issue a key and no one will be home during the cleaning, you may choose to leave a door unlocked or place a spare key in a secured place for the cleaners to gain access to your home. In this case, you release Green Guru Cleaning LLC of any liability that may arise from damages or theft to your home as we cannot guarantee that we are the only ones who will have access to your home that day.
If your home has a security system, please inform us how you want to handle it. Security and safety of your home is a major concern at Green Guru Cleaning, and our staff is sensitive to security and access procedures. Our policy is to lock the door while we are cleaning and to not allow access to unknown persons.
The safety of our employees is extremely important. To decrease the risk of injury to employees we are unable to move heavy objects, flip mattresses, etc. We are unable to clean up vomit, blood, urine or excrement. If an employee feels that their personal safety is in danger, and the employee must leave the job site, the client is still responsible for the full cost of the job.
Injuries in Your Home
Our staff members are full time employees and not “independent contractors.” All employees are covered by our Workers’ Compensation Insurance. This covers the employee’s injuries and protects you.
It is important for us to have access to every area of your home that we will be cleaning. In doing so, we need to work freely and without distractions. Excessive talking (beyond cleaning instructions) prevents us from being 100% focused.
Likewise, excess clutter (i.e. toys or clothes on floor, mail or personal items on counters and tables, excess toiletries on bathroom counters, kitchen sinks full of dishes). We understand that homes are made to be lived in, but excess clutter and lack of tidy spaces to clean can prevent our staff from completing their work in a timely manner.
Every effort is made to work safely and cautiously and we cannot assume liability for injury to others. We kindly ask that you, your children and pets remain out of the rooms that we are cleaning in order to prevent safety hazards (contact with cleaning products, tripping over buckets, caddies, vacuum cords, etc.).
Partial Home Cleaning
Some orders for cleaning may not include the entire home. For example, you only want kitchen and bathrooms cleaned or post construction clean up of a remodeled den. We are happy to accommodate these requests, but a minimum order of $40 is required for each service ordered. This means that if the number of square feet you need cleaned does not total $40, you will be charged $40 for the partial clean.
For homeowners, we accept credit cards and PayPal. Payment is due before your cleaning will be scheduled. For recurring service, you will be enrolled in regular billing to take place 24 hours before your scheduled visit. Occasionally, the price of a one time deep clean or move out clean does not match the estimated price collected at time of booking. A refund will be issued within 24 hours if estimated price exceeded actual price. If estimated price was less than actual price, payment will be collected on the day of the service.
We offer monthly invoicing for Realtors and Property Managers of both residential and vacation rental homes. An annual retainer of $99 is required to participate in monthly invoicing. This retainer is applied as a statement credit to the December invoice if applicable or carried over as a retainer for the following year if no service is rendered in December. Invoices are issued on the 10th of each month for the services performed in the previous calendar month. Your invoice will be itemized by address, service date, and square footage cleaned. Payment is due by the last day of the month and can be paid by credit card or PayPal. Late fee of $50 will apply if payment is not made the due date. Retainer is forfeited, services will be suspended, and you will be referred to a collection agency for balances more than thirty days past due.
Realtor Loyalty Program
We offer a rewards program in which realtors earn a $100 statement credit for every 20,000 square feet either referred or purchased. This statement credit can be gifted to a client or applied to your monthly invoice. Participation in this program is automatic and balance information will be included on your monthly invoice. Only the first cleaning of a referred client counts towards the 20,000 square feet threshold.
Privacy and Data
Green Guru Cleaning considers your personal and payment information to be extremely important. We use cloud based applications for payment collection, customer data management, and scheduling. These cloud based applications use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocols to establish authenticated and encrypted links between computers no the internet. Your information is never stored locally.
From time to time, our staff may be required to submit pictures of completed work to management. Our policy is for staff and management to delete all photos upon review. Pictures of your home will never be used in marketing without prior consent and written authorization.
Rates and Gratuity
Our standard rates are listed in multiple places throughout our website and printed marketing materials. Special rates for special projects will be billed and designated as such in writing.
Because we bill in advance of the service, your we cannot accept gratuity at time of booking. However, if you choose to reward your cleaners in cash for a job well done, your gratuity is appreciated.
Scheduling and Cancellation Policy
When we schedule your appointment, you will have a 3 hour window for arrival. One time cleanings can take several hours, and we always schedule them at the beginning of the day. Our staff depend on completing your clean in order to earn their pay for the day. Cancellations can cost them dearly. Accordingly, we have implemented the following policies:
Skipped or Missed Recurring Clean
Our recurring service rates vary based on frequency. Weekly rates are for weekly cleanings. Biweekly rates are for biweekly cleanings. Monthly rates are for monthly cleanings. If you skip a cleaning, you will be charged the rate for the next frequency of service. Payment adjustment for increase in rate will be due at time of the rescheduled cleaning.

Solicitation of Staff
By using our services, you agree not to solicit for hire any staff member introduced to you by Green Guru Cleaning for any home-related service. If you are found to have solicited one of our staff, please be advised that our referral fee is $3,500.
Accidents do happen. If we are responsible for damages to your home or items in your home, we will leave a note for you the day of the cleaning. We make every attempt to repair, replace or pay for any items that we have damaged.
We will not assume liability for pre-existing damages, scratches, dings in windows, paint, furniture, floors, walls, etc. or items not secured in a proper manner (e.g. heavy pictures hanging from thumb tacks, not anchored properly to walls). Items of monetary or sentimental value should be put away on the day of cleaning and/or cleaned by home owner.
All surfaces (e.g. marble, granite, hardwood floors, etc.) are assumed to be sealed and ready to be cleaned without causing harm/damage when our listed cleaners are used.
Release of Liability
Should you decide you would like us to clean items of monetary or sentimental value (>$100) e.g., items within curio cabinets, etc., the following will apply: Client hereby releases Green Guru Cleaning LLC from all liability arising out of cleaning these item(s). Client understands that he/she is completely responsible for repairing or replacing any damaged item(s) even if we may have caused the need for repair or replacement.
Wear and Tear
The longer we live in our homes, the more wear and tear builds up in it. Baseboards, bottom of showers and tubs, mold/mildew, excessive water spots and soap scum on glass shower doors, worn flooring, grout, window tracks, etc. are all areas where wear and tear will impact results. These areas may take more than one cleaning to improve in appearance or may not come clean at all.
